Djokovic dominates without rival in the men’s category. In the women’s draw, there’s no clear dominator.

In men’s tennis, the dominance of the Serb is overwhelming. In his six appearances, he has been champion in all of them, without dropping a single one of the 29 matches played. It’s a shame he’s not here this year.

Far behind follow Rafael Nadal, with 2 titles, and Michael Chang, with fewer points but 3 trophies.

The women’s list shows a ranking without a clear leader. It’s topped by Agnieszka Radwanska with 2 titles, the same as Caroline Wozniacki, Svetlana Kuznetsova, and Serena Williams. In the current edition, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff are aiming to join the club.

The differences in points are explained by the fact that the tournament used to be part of the ATP International Series, equivalent to today’s ATP 250s, from 2004 to 2008, and was upgraded to ATP 500 (T-500) status starting in 2009.

On the women’s side, the tournament was a WTA Tier II from 2004 to 2008, equivalent to a T-500, and then became a WTA Premier Mandatory in 2009, today’s WTA 1000 (T-1000).
