Best tennis players in Paris Masters

It’s time for the season’s last Masters 1000, where all eyes are on the two big names: Sinner and Alcaraz, though Novak Djokovic won’t be making an appearance. Last year, Nole clinched the No. 1 TRH Ranking spot at this very tournament, pretty much settling the GOAT debate in his favor.

In Paris Masters history in the ATP Era (1990-2023), Djokovic is the undeniable king, leading in points and stacking up the most titles: 7 from 9 finals. Next in line is Marat Safin with three titles, then Sampras and Agassi with two each. Federer’s got just one, and of the 19 other champs, only Medvedev, Khachanov, and Rune are still on tour.

The Paris crowd has witnessed Djokovic win the most matches here (50). They’ve also cheered on Berdych (27 wins), Sampras and Safin (24), Federer (23), Dimitrov and Nadal (22)—though Rafa never managed to claim the Paris title, along with Ferrer, Murray, and home favorite Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (21 wins each).

Here's a look at the history on this surface in the ATP era (1990-2023)
